You may notice that conversion totals in Journeys are slightly lower than those shown in the Leaderboards or Dashboards. This is expected and due to system optimization limits applied specifically in the Journeys view.
Here’s why:
Journeys applies threshold caps to support performance and usability:
It excludes conversions that involve more than 500 steps
It excludes conversions that occur after a user’s 50th recorded conversion
Leaderboards and Dashboards do not apply these caps, so they show the full conversion count.
As a result, total conversions in Journeys can be slightly lower than those shown elsewhere in the platform. This ensures that Journeys load efficiently while still representing the most relevant user paths.
