Funnels Drop-off Analysis is not limited to a single session. It can include multiple sessions and repeated page views for the same user.
This is because the filtering in Funnels Drop-off Analysis applies to the funnel steps themselves, not to Drop-off Analysis Pathways. As a result, a user maygenerate multiple page views for the same page, which can appear sequentially in the analysis.
This can happen when a user:
Visits a page, leaves the site, and later returns (creating multiple sessions)
Refreshes the page manually or automatically
Returns to a page after an extended period of time
Triggers a new page view event through interactions on the page (for example, single-page applications, dynamic content, or step-based experiences that fire page view events)
If you see the same page listed multiple times in a Pathway, this behavior is expected and does not indicate a glitch. It reflects multiple page view events being captured and may also suggest deeper engagement or extended time spent on that page.
