Should I update an existing Card or create a new one when making question changes?

Understand when to update an existing Card vs. when to create a new one.

Technically, you can either update an existing Card or create a new one.

  • If the change is minor (e.g., adjusting wording), you can safely edit the existing Card

  • If the change will meaningfully affect how users interpret or respond to the survey, we recommend creating a new Card
