How do I use the Actions section?

Learn how to view and manage engagement-focused actions in Knotch One.

The Actions section in Knotch One helps you track user behaviors that indicate interest or intent—like clicks on buttons—even if they aren’t full conversions.

Each row in the table represents a defined action, and the columns display performance metrics for that interaction.

Column Definitions:

  • Action Title: The name of the tracked user action

  • Clicks: Total number of times the action was triggered

  • Click Rate: Percentage of visits where the action was triggered

  • Conversion Rate: How often this action was followed by a conversion

  • Conversions: Total number of conversions that followed this action

  • Avg. Number of Pages to Convert: Average pages viewed between action and conversion

  • Avg. Time to Convert: Average time (in minutes) from action to conversion

  • Avg. Sessions to Convert: Average number of sessions between action and conversion

  • Desktop Clicks: Total clicks from desktop users

  • Mobile Clicks: Total clicks from mobile users

Key Features:

  • Search: Locate actions by name

  • Filters: Filter by date, referrer, device, tag, or page

  • Customize Columns: Show or hide the metrics you care about most

  • Download to CSV: Export your data using the download button

  • Create a New Action: Click the + button to define a new action in the Event Builder

  • Averages: Access the Averages row at the bottom where you can view column averages. The averages will recalculate when filters are applied.

Use this section to monitor mid-funnel activity and understand how users engage with key content elements.
