What is Tag Manager?

Learn how to view, organize, and manage your tags using the Tag Manager.

The Tag Manager lets you create, edit, and organize the tags that power your content grouping and analysis in Knotch One.

When you click Tag Manager, you'll be taken to a dedicated page that shows all your tags in a sortable, filterable table.

What you’ll see:

  • Parent Tags: Top-level tag categories

  • Child Tags: Sub-tags nested within each parent

  • # of Child Tags: How many sub-tags exist under a parent tag

  • Page Count: Number of pages using each tag

  • Last Updated: When the tag was last modified

  • Actions:

    • Edit: Change the tag’s name or rules

    • Delete: Remove the tag from the system

    • View Content: Opens the Pages section filtered by the selected tag

How to create tags:

  • Click the + button at the top to:

    • Create a new Parent Tag

    • Add a new Child Tag under an existing Parent

You can also:

  • Sort tags alphabetically for easier scanning

  • Filter by Parent Tag to narrow down your view

  • Scroll through the full list to browse all existing tags

Use Tag Manager to keep your tagging structure clean and consistent—so your Pages, Tags, and Journeys sections remain meaningful and easy to analyze.
