The Tags section gives you a roll-up view of content performance based on how you've grouped pages—whether by topic, campaign, channel, audience, or strategy.
Each row in the table represents a tag, and the columns show performance metrics aggregated across all pages using that tag.
Default columns include:
Tag: The name of the tag
Parent: The top-level grouping this tag belongs to (if applicable)
Number of Pages: How many content pages use this tag
Knotch Score: Blended performance score across all tagged content
Total Views: The sum of all page views across content with this tag
Total Visits: The sum of all sessions that included a page with this tag
First Touch Visits: Number of sessions where a tagged page was the first page seen
Middle Touch Visits: Number of sessions where a tagged page was seen mid-journey
Last Touch Visits: Number of sessions where a tagged page was the last page before conversion
Average Time on Page: Average time spent on pages with this tag
Average Scroll Depth: The average percentage of page scrolled on tagged content
Average Exit Rate: The % of users that exited the site while on pages with this tag
Average Recirculation Rate: How often users continued on to another page after viewing tagged content
Conversion Rate: The percentage of visits to tagged content that resulted in a conversion
Total Conversions: The total number of conversions associated with tagged content
Average TTC with Tag: The average time it took users to convert after engaging with a page using this tag
Key features:
Search: Use the top search bar to find specific tags
Filter by Parent Tag to narrow your view
Use top-level filters like Date Range, Referrer, Device, Conversion, or Question to customize your analysis
Customize columns: Add/remove columns to fit your focus
Download: Export your tag data via the CSV download button
Save Custom Views: Save filter + column configurations for repeat use
Use Tag Manager: Click the Tag Manager button to create or edit tags
Averages: Access the Averages row at the bottom where you can view column averages. The averages will recalculate when filters are applied.
This view is especially useful for evaluating content themes, campaigns, or strategic groupings—so you can double down on what works and rethink what doesn’t.
