Brand Profiles are AIQ's multi-brand intelligence layer. They replace the legacy AIQ Settings configuration and allow organizations that manage more than one brand to keep each brand's voice, tone, and content context completely separate—all within a single Knotch account.
Each Brand Profile defines:
Brand Name — The display name for the brand across AIQ workflows.
Assigned Domains & Subdomains — The content properties that belong to this brand, auto-detected from your KTag deployments.
Brand Guidelines — The voice, tone, vocabulary, and writing rules AIQ uses when creating or optimizing content for this brand.
Brand Profiles live under AIQ > Brands in the main navigation. This section is only visible if AIQ is enabled for your account.
Multi-brand support in one account — No need for separate Knotch accounts per brand.
No brand voice crossover — Each brand's guidelines and content scope are isolated, so AIQ never confuses one brand's voice with another.
Brand-specific content context — Domains and subdomains are mapped per brand, ensuring AIQ references only the right content when optimizing, composing, or atomizing.
Optimize — The brand is automatically inferred from the mapped domain or subdomain of the content being optimized. Reference content is restricted to pages assigned to that brand.
Compose — You select a Brand Profile before generating content. AIQ applies that brand's guidelines and references only brand-specific content.
Atomize — You select a Brand Profile when transforming content. The generated output maintains the correct brand voice.
AIQ can still function without Brand Profiles, but it will lack any brand context. If no brands have been created, a prompt will appear on the Brands page explaining that you should create one or more Brand Profiles to ensure quality, on-brand content. A Create Brand button is provided to get started.
