Unlike Web Page Cards, which use a Deploy tab with location and trigger settings, Email Cards use an Activate & Embed tab. This tab has two sections: Activation and Email HTML Embed.
Clicking Activate publishes the follow-up steps of your Email Card to the selected landing page(s). This is required before the Card can function.
The Activate button is greyed out until all required landing page selections have been made.
Once activated, a success indicator is displayed and the Card's status changes to Active.
You can deactivate the Card at any time, which removes the follow-up steps from the landing page(s).
After activation, the Embed & Send section displays the Card's HTML snippet. This snippet contains all Card logic, content, and tracking code (including a 1×1 tracking pixel for impression measurement).
Click Copy HTML to copy the snippet to your clipboard.
A confirmation modal will appear reminding you to paste the HTML into your email.
Click Save and Close to save your changes and return to the Cards Leaderboard.
Paste the HTML into your email editor or ESP.
The embed process is manual and email client agnostic — you can use any email platform or editor to send the email containing the Card.
Tip: Always send a test email to yourself first to verify the Card renders correctly before sending to your full distribution list.
