Because only the first step of an Email Card appears in the email itself, you must select a landing page where recipients will complete the remaining survey steps. Landing page selection is required for Email Cards that begin with a survey question.
When a recipient clicks any response in the embedded Email Card, they are directed to the landing page you specify. The same landing page is used for all responses — regardless of which option the recipient selects, they arrive at the same page to complete the remainder of the survey.
In the Compose tab, click the Select button next to the landing page setting.
A modal window opens where you can search for pages by title or URL (using contains or exact match).
Use the Tag filter to narrow results if needed.
Select your desired page and click Save. Only one page can be selected.
Once applied, the page thumbnail, title, and URL are displayed in the Compose tab for confirmation.
After a landing page has been applied, you can click the Select button again to choose a different page. The new selection replaces the existing one. If the Card has already been activated, you must update and re-publish for the change to take effect.
If the landing page you select already has a Web Page Card deployed to it, the Email Card will temporarily override the existing Card for recipients arriving from the email. Specifically:
Recipients who click the Email Card see the Email Card's follow-up steps on the landing page.
Other visitors arriving at the same page from non-email sources continue to see the original Web Page Card.
If the same email recipient returns to the landing page later from a different source, they will also see the original Web Page Card.
The override is temporary and tied to the email click-through. The existing Web Page Card is never removed or unpublished.
Note: Landing page selection is not required if the first step of your Email Card is a CTA, Recommendation, or Message (rather than a survey question)
