Creating an Email Card follows a three-phase workflow: Compose, Activate, and Embed.
Go to the Cards section and click the + button.
Select Email as your Delivery Channel. This opens the Card Builder with email-specific options.
Add your Card steps (Survey questions, CTAs, Recommendations, or Messages) as you would for any Card.
For the first question step in a Survey, configure your Landing Page settings (see "How do I set up Landing Pages for Email Cards?" for details).
Customize the text, responses, and any additional steps in the survey flow.
Click the Activate & Embed tab.
Click Activate to publish the follow-up steps of your Card to the selected landing page(s). The Activate button will be greyed out if required landing page selections have not been made.
Once activated, copy the Card HTML using the Copy HTML button. A confirmation modal will remind you to paste this into your email.
Click Save and Close. You'll be returned to the Cards Leaderboard.
Paste the copied HTML snippet into your email editor or ESP to embed the Card in your email campaign.
Note: The embed process is manual — you copy the HTML from Knotch One and paste it into your email tool of choice. Email Cards are email client agnostic.
