Email Cards allow you to embed Knotch Cards directly into your email campaigns to measure brand sentiment and drive conversions from email content. Instead of appearing as a pop-up on a web page, an Email Card is rendered inline within the email message itself.
When a recipient opens an email containing a Knotch Email Card, they see the first step of the Card (typically a survey question) rendered directly in the email body. When they click a response, they're taken to a landing page on your website where the remaining steps of the survey are displayed. This creates a seamless bridge between your email content and your web experience.
Delivery: Email Cards are embedded via an HTML snippet you paste into your email editor or ESP. Web Page Cards are deployed to specific pages or tags from within Knotch One.
First interaction: Only the first step of the Card appears in the email. All subsequent steps are completed on a landing page.
Landing pages: Email Cards require at least one landing page to be selected, which is where recipients complete the remainder of the survey after their initial click.
Activation: Email Cards use an Activate/Deactivate workflow instead of Publish/Unpublish.
Metrics: Email Cards share most of the same metrics as Web Page Cards in the Cards Leaderboard, with the exception of "Pages Deployed On," which does not apply.
