Filtering the Conversions Dashboard by API Conversions

Filter your Conversions Dashboard by API or Site Conversions to analyze performance for visitors who completed online, offline, CRM, or other external conversion events.

Overview

If you’re integrated with the Knotch Events API, you can filter your Conversions Dashboard by one or multiple API Conversions, or a combination of API and Site Conversions, to analyze site-level conversion performance for visitors who completed specific conversion events.

Using the API Conversion Filter

  1. Open the Conversions Dashboard

    • Navigate to Analytics → Conversions

    • At the top of the dashboard, locate the Conversions filter dropdown

  2. Select API Conversions

    • API Conversions now appear within the Conversions filter under a dedicated “API Conversions” grouping

    • Site Conversions are displayed separately under “Site Conversions”

This grouping helps distinguish on-site conversion actions from those received via the API (e.g., ClosedWon, BecameSQL, PurchaseCompleted).

  3. Apply One or Multiple Filters

    • Select one or more API Conversion events to filter dashboard data

    • You can also combine API and Site Conversions to view blended performance for both online and offline outcomes

  4. View Updated Metrics

    • All dashboard chips, widgets, charts and data tables automatically recalculate when filters are applied

    • Metrics update based on the selected Conversion events.

What’s Impacted

When an API Conversion filter is applied, the following update:

  • Top Level Metric chips

  • Trend Charts

  • Conversion Breakdown Tables

  • Top Pages and Tags Lists

Data shown represents only visitors who completed the selected API or Site Conversions during the chosen date range.
