The Surveys tab in Knotch One provides audience feedback collected through on-site Cards. It’s broken into three sections—Sentiment Surveys, Diagnostic Surveys, and General Surveys—each offering different types of insight.
This section tracks how users feel about your content.
Positive Sentiment: Percentage of users who selected a positive sentiment
Responses: Total number of sentiment survey responses
Sentiment Breakdown: Distribution of positive, neutral, and negative sentiment responses
Response Breakdown: Percent of page visitors who interacted with the sentiment card and responded, categorized from extremely positive to extremely negative
Sentiment Over Time: Trends in positive, neutral, and negative sentiment across your selected date range
Sentiment Breakdown By Page or Tag: See how sentiment varies by individual content or grouped content (tags)
You can sort by sentiment or by the number of responses
Diagnostic questions can provide additional context and feedback from visitors who responded with a particular sentiment response.
Positive Diagnostics: Top responses for Positive Diagnostic questions following a Positive Sentiment response
Neutral Diagnostics: Top responses for Neutral Diagnostic questions following a Neutral Sentiment response
Negative Diagnostics: Top responses for Negative Diagnostic questions following a Negative Sentiment response
This data helps you identify what’s driving or hurting performance at a deeper level. It can also help provide visitor insight into what could help improve your content (e.g., Neutral Diagnostic: 'What would improve the content for you?' Response: 'Add deeper analysis of complex financial topics.')
These are custom, question-based surveys you can deploy with your Cards.
Responses: Total number of answers submitted for the selected question
Response Breakdown: Percentage of users selecting each option (e.g., "Yes" vs. "No")
Use this section to understand audience preferences, awareness, or intent beyond sentiment.
Use filters to narrow results by date range, pages, tags and more to uncover further insights.
