# Why don’t First, Mid, and Last Touch conversions add up to the total?

Understand how one page can receive multiple attribution credits within the same journey.

In both Journeys and Dashboards, **First, Mid, and Last Touch** attributions **may not add up** to the overall conversion count. That’s because a **single page** can receive multiple types of credit within the same journey.

For example, this journey:

**Page A → Page B → Page C → Page A → Page D → Page A → Conversion**

Page A appears multiple times—early, mid-journey, and just before conversion. So:

-   It may be counted as **First Touch**
    
-   Also as **Mid Touch**
    
-   And as **Last Touch**
    

That results in **3 attribution credits**, but there was still only **1 conversion**.

In Journeys, the **converting page itself is not shown in the Page Influence table**, which also contributes to totals not matching.
