# What if I remove an auto-tagged page manually?

Learn how to permanently exclude a page from auto tagging.

If a page was included by an auto-tag rule, removing it manually means **it will be added back the next time the Tag Automation Service runs**—unless you create an Exclude rule for that specific page.

✅ To prevent this, create an **Exclude rule** using the full page URL so it’s ignored in future runs.
