# How do I manage (add or edit) Auto Tag rules?

Customize which pages are included or excluded from a tag using rules.

To manage rules:

1.  Go to the **Child Tag’s Settings**
    
2.  Toggle **Auto Tags On**, then click **Manage**
    
3.  Add **Include** or **Exclude** rules based on URL patterns
    
4.  Use **Contains** or **Does not contain** logic
    
5.  Add multiple rules using **AND/OR** logic as needed
    
6.  Click **Save** to apply
