# How do I use AIQ?

Learn how to access and use AIQ to optimize, atomize, or create content.

AIQ is divided into two areas: **Content** and **Brands**.

-   **Brands:** Create and manage Brand Profiles for each brand in your organization. Each profile includes assigned domains, subdomains, and brand guidelines that control how AIQ writes for that brand. See _AIQ Brand Profiles_ for details.
    
-   **Content:** View all content you've created or optimized using AIQ. The table shows:
    
    -   **Title:** Content name
        
    -   **Type:** Optimize, Atomize, or Compose
        
    -   **Author:** Who created the content
        
    -   **Status:** Draft, In Review, or Approved
        
    -   **Word Count**: Number of words in the content
        
    -   **Last Modified:** Date the content was last modified
        

From the top menu, you can choose:

-   **Optimize:** Improve an existing content piece
    
-   **Atomize:** Repurpose content into multiple formats using templates
    
-   **Compose:** Create new content from scratch using AI-guided templates
    

When using Compose or Atomize, you'll be asked to select a Brand Profile. For Optimize, the brand is automatically detected from the content's domain or subdomain.

Use the filters to view by author, status, or specific content.
