# How are the 'Spreadsheet Columns' ordered in the Report Builder?

They are ordered alphabetically

Columns in the Add/Edit Spreadsheet Columns panel are listed alphabetically. Note that this alphabetical order applies only to the column picker in the builder — the actual column order in the exported spreadsheet follows a standard layout.
