# How do I set up Landing Pages for Email Cards?

Configure where email recipients are sent after clicking a response in an Email Card.

Because only the first step of an Email Card appears in the email itself, you must select a landing page where recipients will complete the remaining survey steps. Landing page selection is required for Email Cards that begin with a survey question.

### How It Works

When a recipient clicks any response in the embedded Email Card, they are directed to the landing page you specify. The same landing page is used for all responses — regardless of which option the recipient selects, they arrive at the same page to complete the remainder of the survey.

### Selecting a Landing Page

1. In the Compose tab, click the **Select** button next to the landing page setting.

2. A modal window opens where you can search for pages by title or URL (using contains or exact match).

3. Use the **Tag filter** to narrow results if needed.

4. Select your desired page and click **Save**. Only one page can be selected.

Once applied, the page thumbnail, title, and URL are displayed in the Compose tab for confirmation.

### Changing a Landing Page

After a landing page has been applied, you can click the Select button again to choose a different page. The new selection replaces the existing one. If the Card has already been activated, you must update and re-publish for the change to take effect.

### Landing Pages with Existing Cards

If the landing page you select already has a Web Page Card deployed to it, the Email Card will temporarily override the existing Card for recipients arriving from the email. Specifically:

- Recipients who click the Email Card see the Email Card's follow-up steps on the landing page.

- Other visitors arriving at the same page from non-email sources continue to see the original Web Page Card.

- If the same email recipient returns to the landing page later from a different source, they will also see the original Web Page Card.

The override is temporary and tied to the email click-through. The existing Web Page Card is never removed or unpublished.

> **Note:** Landing page selection is not required if the first step of your Email Card is a CTA, Recommendation, or Message (rather than a survey question)
