# How do I edit a Report?

Existing reports can’t be edited directly, but you can duplicate them to make updates safely.

To protect report accuracy and prevent accidental changes to other users’ work, **existing reports cannot be edited directly**.

Instead:

1.  Duplicate the report you want to modify.
    
2.  Make any changes to the **copy**.
    
3.  Save the updated version as a new report.
    

This ensures your edits are safe and won’t affect other users’ reports.
