# Will KTag give us any historical data that predates its deployment?

Learn whether Ktag can collect or backfill data from before it was installed.

No — Ktag cannot collect or display historical data from before it was deployed. It only begins tracking **after** it has been installed on your site. Any activity or page views prior to deployment will not be captured or shown in Knotch One.
