# What happens when an Action event meets 2 sets of rules?

Clarification on our attribution process for Action events and multiple sets of rules.

An event can only be attributed to a single action. Priority is given to the oldest action based on the assigned rules.

**Example**: In the case where a click event meets the rule logic of Action A (created on 4/1/25) and Action B (created on 5/1/25), the click event would get attributed to Action A.
