# What happens when a conversion event meets 2 different sets of rules?

Clarification on our attribution process for Conversion events and multiple sets of rules.

An event can only be attributed to a single conversion. Priority is given to the oldest conversion based on the assigned rules.

**Example**: In the case where a click event meets the rule logic of Conversion A (created on 4/1/25) and Conversion B (created on 5/1/25), the click event would get attributed to Conversion A.
